1. Tiergarten
Tiergarten is within the central city of Berlin and is the biggest and most popular park in the region. Stretching over 520 acres, this park creates a calming atmosphere of an open territory neighbored to numerous city buildings. These landmarks include picturesque views, enclosed and open gardens, seas and lakes, and large areas for carrying out picnics and other outdoor activities of interest within Tiergarten.
You must afford to visit the Brandenburg Gate which is located at the eastern corner of the park. It symbolizes reunification of Berlin and is rightfully considered to be the rich sightseeing. The visitor can also picnic either in the car park area or take a bicycle or a walk around the many paths in the Tiergarten and experience some wildlife or just stroll through the natural scenic views.
2. Volkspark Friedrichshain
Spread as a park over the Friedrichshain district, they are characterized by their historical background and scenic beauty. These include the Märchenbrunnen (Fairy Tale Fountain) which gave the park its name and certainly the rather sombre Soviet War Memorial.
You simply stroll under the trees, enjoy a barbecue by the beautiful pond at the park or test your volleyball at one of the park’s courts. As the park has a lot of trees and flowers, anyone who comes here feels relieved and relaxed coming closer to the nature.
3. Botanischer Garten
If you consider yourself a lover of flower and plants beauty then the Botanischer Garten or the Botanical Garden is a place you cannot afford to miss. Said to be one of the noteworthy tourist destinations in Berlin, this garden is home to botanical specimens from across the World and is situated in the zone of southern Berlin.
Relax and take a slow walk around the gardens that touch on the tropical greenhouses and rose and water gardens. Find plants that you have never seen or heard of before and find out more about them. The Botanischer Garten is incredibly aesthetically pleasing while serving as an informative oasis for people of all ages who are most fascinated with natural beauty.

The Treptower Park is a large park with nice scenery and located near the River Spree it represents not only beautiful scenery but also has a history behind it. Visit the riverside promenade around the park, rent a paddle boat or if you like to take it easy, try taking a nap under the acasa trees.
But the most famous landmark of Treptower Park is the Soviet War Memorial. This large memorial was erected as the tribute to Soviet soldiers who died in the Battle of Berlin in 1945. Still I recommend to visit the memorial and tell about it to others – it is very impressive and presents the history of the city.
5. Schlossgärten von Schloss Charlottenburg
However, when it comes to sightseeing the beautiful gardens of Charlottenburg Palace cannot be missed during any Berlin tour. This garden is Baroque style and is situated in the Charlottenburg district as an impressive decoration for the palace.
Beyond the picturesque gardens, realistic sculptures and fountains and even a lazy lake, you can take a stroll around the park. When visiting Charlottenburg Palace, you met with wonderful gardens as well as have an idea about the royal history of Berlin.
