Germany’s capital city is Berlin, in the northeast of the country. It is the capital and, by amount of land area, the largest city in Germany.

There are around 3.8 million people in Berlin who makes Berlin the most populous city in Germany and the second most populous city in the European Union. The mixture of the city has lots of ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds, making the city borough so vibrant and cosmopolitan.

There are an abundance of London’s designed and iconic landmarks and historical sites. Whether it’s the majestic Buckingham Palace and grand Tower of London there’s no shortage of places to see. Other famous places include the British Museum, Big Ben, London Eye, and the famous Tower Bridge that took me a year just to take a picture of the car parked away while travelling during the Brexit shutdown and tourists arrived from around the world.

While, Berlin occupies 891.68 square kilometers and London is 1,572 square kilometers. To put it more literally, London is bigger than Berlin in terms of land, London is definitely larger than Berlin in terms of land.

Though size isn’t a gauge of a city’s charm or appeal, it should be mentioned anyway. They are must visit destinations, but they come with their respective features, cultural offerings and historical value.
