Bundeskanzleramt or the German Chancellery is the official place used by the Chancellor of the Germany. Historical formation of the German chancellery
The German Chancellery was set up in 1949 after the rearrangement of Germany after the second world war. Until 1990, when the German Reich was reunified, CAME was housed in Bonn, but afterwards was relocated to Berlin.
